Today was another of my favourite Patchouli Days, Shower and Shave both supplied by Signature Soaps @BrianH

I could literally bath in Patchouli (if I ever had a bath, lol)

A great shave FF/BBS was achieved once again, enjoy the weekend all.

Oh and my new Karve Wide-body Aluminium Daily Shavers Kit just turned up, a little late for todays shave but something to look forward to for tomorrow :)

The Green Ray brush arrived in the post yesterday, and after a quick test hand lather it was ready to go. I did notice some dye from the knot discoloured the first lather, but after a good rinse the second lather was fine. This is a very soft synthetic knot, which is easy to splay on the face. I face lathered with this brush today and was rewarded with a wonderful thick creamy lather, and a close, comfortable shave.

A great little set up for a “pre going out with the Mrs” shave. The Sputnik and the 6S work well together and apparently I’ve passed the “you can accompany me out” test.

:poop:Rubbish shave. The purple of the Chianti brush clashed horribly with the red of the Figaro tub, and the whole "blue" theme of the Aqua ASL only made matters worse. Definitely going to go back back to planning a CCS tomorrow ;)

Actually, the shave was spot-on. I find the Figaro preferable to Cella in the battle of the almond pots -by quite a way. 7 o'clock green blade on day two was faultless and the Cien Aqua gave a hit of both freshness and alcohol kick. The setup did offend my sensibilities though, and I'm now off to trawl the Yaqi site for a brush that works with my red soaps :p

Blade: persona platinum chrome 1st use

Sat morning shave the scent was a lot better than the vegan soaps i had previously from them i would say its still on the mild side but I like it and the soap lathered really well just like the vegan ones I had very impressed .

I used the persona platinum chrome that LeeMaz sent me and was a good blade first time using one and paired really well with the Karve then finished with stirling Black cherry splash
