My 1st vintage Gillette
My 1st adjustable razor
& my 1st shave with it!
It's a K4 (as am I!)

Cold water shave.
Palmolive soap prep.
Palmolive shaving cream.
Nacet #1st shave.
3 passes: With, Against & Burnish.
Razor setting no.4

Brilliantly smooth, clean shave from my newest razor.
Had been looking for one for ages, spotted this one on the 'bay.
VVGC razor, nice click on adjustment.
Can't wait for another go with it.

Gillette New (England, 1930s/40s)
Super Iridium Extra Stainless (2)
Flöid Black

Not sure of the exact history of this Gillette. It seems that it depends on the box. So, according to Mr. Razor, it could be part of a French issue; or a 1934 ‘Jewellery Set’. To confuse matters further, the box is from the States.

Regardless, it’s a great piece of cutlery.

Blade • Schick Proline P (4)
Post • Pre De Provence No63 Balm

Again good enough finish but took some work. I need an A plate for this razor.

The bad news is my wife and I have Covid.
Mrs L is really suffering.
Worse news - our daughter has it too, and has passed it to her 3 month old baby.
