A nice lather mixed up with the Vintage Gibbs and Vulfix pure bristle service #3 in the cheap hammered copper bowl (I think its a small fruit bowl), the brush is really soft after a soak and has just the right amount of scritch to get the lather under the stubble, The lather still very nice, although the scent is quite faint.
3 Passes for a super close BBS finish, These little vintage ladies deliver every time. i always have a big smile on my face, they are up there with the best of my kit.
A nice post shave with a little indication from the block, i may have a bit burn under my left ear. I added the Barts Balm lotion to the post shave because of this. The Vintage Tabac absorbed quickly finishing with a splash of Old Spice. All very nice.

Pre-shave: Warm shower, Wright's cold tar soap and cold water splash.
Soap: The Gentlemans Groom Room - Essence of Scotland Mountain Yew .
Brush: Simpsons The Duke 2 Pure Badger.
Bowl: Giles Shaving Co - Spotty Pedestal.
Razor: Hone 15 (Brass).
Blade: Feather (2).
Post: Myrsol "Metilsol" Astringent, followed by Ibiza Aloe - Alow vera gel.
EDP: Captain Fawcett Triumphant Eau de Parfum.

A very pleasing 2 pass WTG and ATG shave today; the Hone 15 with the Feather is delightful - simple and effective (as every YMMV). A DFS+ finish with no issues to report.

I really enjoy the Ibiza Aloe as a post shave balm, with the Autumn approaching I may start to look for a 'heavier' balm to provide more skin protection from the elements.
