Omega 10108 Boar - Derby - Pearl Blaze/SuperShave X - Lynx Dark TemptationAS and Body Spray

My second day with this setup. Yesterday was a very early start and late finish so no post. The Derby stick has been pressed into one of my relish dishes an I think I prefer using it that way. The Blaze performed impeccably as usual. I can never understand why it doesn't have many followers!

Decent shave this morning, two pass WTG/ATG. After your final pass have you ever had that impending sense of dread when you can feel a tingle before you even touch the bottle? Yup that was me this morning, luckily it seems I managed to just skate the surface of the home alone reaction, slight feedback on the upper lip, beyond that I was safe and sound...phew.

The actual finish though was excellent, absolutely smooth on the face with only one patch on the neck that could've done with a touch up. Happy days!

When you manage to snag an 80 year old razor, you have to shave with it. Early 1940's Gillette Tech. As smooth as I expected it to be, this one is definitely now in the rotation. It did bite me under the chin but that was 100% driver error.

Nice enough soap for the scent, cooling, and the rich creamy, and very slick lather...
Another very good shave with this blade paired with the razor. Very smooth, crisp, and efficient. 3passes for a bbs finish.
The matching aftershave cooling is a huge kick to the face..wow hahaha!!

For me the X1 slant SE works a treat, very smooth - mild even, and very efficient.
The soap was gifted to me by Jon @jphelan81 - thank you so much, the scent is right up my street and the lather was typical of my other A&E soaps, nothing short of brilliant.
A nice end to the week.

Don't see many of the Pearl heads any more, they shave like a Fatip. (y)
