Maggard 24mm 2BB - P&B Spitfire - Feather AS-D1/Feather - Clubman Special Reserve

I bought this razor when it was released several years ago and never managed to use it due to its reputation as a very mild shaver. I enjoy milder razors nowadays so decided to give it a go. It took the full 3 passes....but what a finish!

Indulged my self again in another Twin Blade Shave, using the elegant N3 which delivers a most smooth and efficient Shave. Without any problems I am left with a face devoid of any significant stubble, ready to do a bit of shopping for some essentials - before we oldies have to stay Indoors.

Feather Artist Club for the first pass and Gillette Fatboy for the second pass/clean up and a super smooth shave was the result. Excellent.

A very nice shave today, it was the first time i had used the Merkur 23C to make up the Frankenrazor, i think the last time i used the Parker heavyweight which made it a bit vicious on one side, i remember checking the bottom plates in the Merkur and thinking it might work, alas, RAD took over and it been about a year since this Myatt's last outing.
I know my technique has improved however the Merkur/Myatt gave a wonderful mild but very efficient shave, well happy with that.
I like these 7o'C blacks, it also worked very well in the Blackbird
Enjoy your day All
