After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

1930 gold Criterion Deluxe New/ Iridium Super
custom 2 band badger made in ebony by Sir Brian
Alvarez Gomez shaving cream
no after shave and no EdT.....weird

Ok, I have now shaved with this razor maybe 12-13 times in the last 3 weeks since acquired. I knew it was an aggressive type, having owned a Deluxe set many years ago and it being a bit much for me. But jeeeez, it's something rarely seen in the wild and looked to be a good one regarding teeth and stable handle. Head showed some wear but nothing preventing the good shaving question.

Anyway, the last 3-4 times have been color free, lather wise, which took me a while getting there regularly. One of the few razors zero pressure is the best technique for me. Oh, and it really needs a good cream or soap.

This cream has a great scent and better than average performance as long as enough time and water is used in the mixing.

I've used my Game Changer with Silver Blues for a couple of weeks, and I've enjoyed it
I sometimes get in to the habit of using one razor for weeks without realising it, but now it's time for a change

Pre:

Warm wet flannel to my face.


Simple ~ Sensitive Pure Soap Bar.


Brush: Chinese Unbranded Silvertip Fibre.


Bowl Lather.



Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.



Uber/Superlather : Erasmic Shaving Soap Bowl + Shaving Cream Lather.


Blade: Personna Gem PTFE. (4)


Razor: Ever Ready 1912. (US)

A relaxing sunday morning shave.

The Erasmic 'Superlather' excelled the shave another wonderful cushioned protective slick lather was provided in a short space of time leaving a superb post shave feel.

A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Nivea Men ~ Anti-Irritation ASLB.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling devine.;)

A nice shave this morning, i am getting more comfortable with the Blackbird. The Jayaruh brush just seems to work, for a Synth it is very much like a Boar brush as it has a very good backbone and gives just the right amount of scritch.
I will have to give my visit to the Mothership a miss today as i have a heavy cold and do not want to pass it on.
Glad i have a large family so Mam will be looked after by 1 of my sisters today.

A wonderfully mild and smooth shave that left my skin as smooth as smooth can be. A much underrated razor strangely but I love it. :) P.

A lovely smelling soap! I overshaved a little as I was enjoying the shave but it was worth it. This soap was a Christmas present from my mother-in-law and this is the first time I've used. It really does smell nice.

I'm probably going to jinx this now but I haven't had a single nick/weeper since using the AC format.
