A Lovely Saturday Shave

Preshave : Heno De Pravia
Soap: S.V Dolomiti
Brush: Cadman MDM Synthetic
Razor: Colonial General
Blade: Kia Captain
Splash: Star Noir
Balm: Bart's Amber and Moroccan Jasmine
EDT: Copy Cat Executive

Some sort of Witchcraft that, a Black soap that produces Snow White Lather !

Loved the new Handle for the General as the original I found quite slippy.

Prep : warm water
Razor : Fatip Gentile Grande
Brush : Omega boar
Blade : Gillette Rubie
Soap : Lea classic
Bowl : Just a bowl
Alum : De Vergulde Hand
After shave :

11th shave with the Rubie, last shave was a bit less due to the 2 days shave I guess. This day just a nice shave. Btw, I keep track of my shave just to know how much the blades approx. will last. 1 week or 2 doesn't really matter, it's just nice to know ;)

Edit : I didn't use an aftershave because I'll take a shower later this evening

Soap: LE salted bourbon and butter cream soap for British Based Shavers Facebook group, made by Jose at Los jabones de Joserra

Brush: Dogwood hybrid acrylic and wood synthetic @dogwoodhandcrafts

Razor: GEM Featherweight with Personna Gem blade

Fragrance: Raghba by Lattafa Perfumes

A truly unique shave. Jose's soap is in my top 3 soap bases right now, incredible lather, slickness and post-shave and the scent is right up my alley. Beautiful fruity gourmand and to my nose it smells incredible close to B&M Leviathan, more creamy and fruity but minus the ashtray vibe. They both have very different scent profiles but are very much alike and to be honest, right now I prefer Jose's composition.

Now to the perfume. If you never heard of it, check it out. Great presentation and scent and incredible value for money. Pairs very well with caramel and bourbon vanilla from the soap.

Saturday SOTD

Pre - Heno de Pravia
Lather - Alvarez Gomez BarberIa
Brush - Maggard 24mm Synthetic
Razor - Timeless 0.68 SS Scalloped
Blade - Gillette Nacet (1)
Post - Witch Hazel
Aftershave - Floid Mentolado Vigoroso

Firstly, thanks and gratitude to @RussellR5555
I bought the Maggard brush from him, and he very kindly included two packs of Nacet blades and a bar of Heno de Pravia soap.

I hadn't used Heno de Pravia before, and I must say it did add extra glide to the already excellent Alvarez Gomez BarberIa Cream.
The Maggard brush has quite a high loft - not the best for face latherIng, I'll bowl lather with it next - which I suspect it will excel at.
It's been a couple of years since I have used a Nacet blade. Paired with the Timeless it was smooth as silk and very sharp.
A quick splash of plain witch hazel followed by a liberal dose of Mentolado Vigoroso to finish and I'm refreshed and smooth once more.
