Have a nice weekend!

Hot shower and camomile glycerine soap
Home made pre-shave oil
Palmolive stick rubbed into suribachi bowl (first outing for both)
NF 2204
EJDE89L
Lord blade (1)
Three passes, cold splash between
Alum
Armani Aqua di Gio ASB

Really impressed with the Palmolive/Suribachi combo. After about a minute whisking, ended up with a bowlful of rich, creamy lather. Enough for five passes!

GFT almond soap
Vulfix Bodger
#11H service set New, Polsilver Stainless (Wizamet)
Barbershop Bay Rum
RSC balm

Fantastic blade. Just right. Think I'm right in thinking they aren't produced any more? Shame if so. I stand to be corrected (fingers crossed). BBS.

Notes: Good 2-pass BBS shave. Tweaked the bevel on coticules and finishers (Special Stone) the night before to get a decent edge.

Welcome back Graeme. Good to have you back. :) That is a very nice brush handle.

Fridays shave

Still suffering from Man Flu, I'm fed up with this now. :(

Prep: Hot Shower
Soap: MWF
Brush: Simpsons Rover
Razor: Gillette New with custom jec handle
Blade: Rapira Swedish Supersteel
Balm: Barbershop Bay Rum

Nice shave, still can't smell anything so I may well have overdosed on the Bay Rum.

It's that time I resort to Proraso preshave and Ingrams. Having read some reviews of Myrsol Formula K, I might add that to my bunged up list.

Echo the comments about having you back, Graeme!

Prep: Hot shower
Brush: New Forest, Tubby 2
Razor: Klas Törnblom

Prep: Face Wash w/ Glycerine Soap, Cold Water
Soap: T&H 1805
Brush: Shavemac 177
Razor: Gillette Slim (#4)
Blade: Polsilver SI (4)
Post: Thayers Cucumber WH, Weleda ASB
EdT: Lalique Hommage a l'Homme

First time using the Shavemac 177. Nice little brush. Not the densest, but it lathers up a storm and the slivertip hair feel soft and luxurious on the face. Dug out the Slim that I hadn't used in a while. Enjoyable DFS.

Have a great weekend!

Hot shower
Hot flannel
Taylor's Grapefruit cream scuttle lathered
Simpsons Colonel best badger brush
Gillette British long comb new
Rapira Super stainless chrome (1)
Cold rinse
Witch hazel
Myrsol lemon aftershave

First shave with a vintage razor the long comb new (I think ?). I'm surprised at how delicate and lightweight the old razors are. The handle had no heft at all compared with my regular razors. I got there in the end :icon_rolleyes: quite a few touch ups to get smooth. Tomorrow back to one of my regular razors.
