"Let's celebrate St George's Day,
The dragon in repose;
The brilliant lark ascending,
The yew, the oak, the rose"

Yesterday I had a Bluebeards Revenge Day 22/04

Hot Shower
Bluebeard's Revenge Pre Shave Oil
Bluebeard's Revenge Cream - Omega / Proraso Brush
2 pass shave - Edwin Jagger DB89 with a Personna Blade (2)
Bluebeard's Revenge Post Shave Balm

Not sure if it was the fact that it was 0530 when I had this shave but not happy with the initial lather I got, got better with a bit of work and more water

Overall - okay for work but not the greatest

Bluebeard's Revenge Cream has just fallen off my shopping list I'm afraid - as good or better out there

Today's Offering 23/04

Normal Service resumed

Hot Shower
King of Shaves oil
Arko Soap
3 pass shave - with / against / across
Weishi Razor with Derby Blade (3)
Gillette ASB

BBS - feels good and clean again

For those who are practising Englanders - Happy St George's Day

Getting used to this wedge now, against my other razors it weighs a ton !!
2 passes WTG with the straight and a quick tidy up with the Aristocrat.
Very nice shave, just one nick on my chin due to getting too sodding cocky with the straight.....:dodgy:
Kept it all english (I think)

St Georges Day Shave

Prep: Warm Shower (the boiler is still broken)
Brush: New Forest Super Badger
Soap: Mitchells Wool Fat
Razor: Gillette Flair Tip Rocket
Blade: English Wilkinson Sword
Balm: Barbershop Bay Rum

Pleasant shave, the blade was excellent, but I wish I had used it in a New Open Comb, it will go in that tomorrow.

I would have used the New today but realised all my handles are foreign, either iKon, UFO, or JEC (Scotland is foreign on St Georges day)
