A very pleasant shave but only DFS on my neck.

Still working my way through the Chinese pif blades.

Prep: Hot Shower
Cream : TOBS Jermyn Street
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Best Badger
Razor: Feather AS-D1
Blade: Super Gillette Blue (2)
A/S: TOBS Jermyn Street

A lovely BBS Shave this morning, this is has been a really nice blade, sharp and smooth. I don't think I'm going to get another shave from it though, it's just starting to dull.
 
After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage butterscotch #74 Made Rite badger
1920 Big Fellow/Iridium
MWF used as a stick
Barbershop Bay Rum AS
Givenchy 'Xeryus' EdT (black bottle)

Second and last time using this razor for a while. Too much bite for more than a few shaves in a row. Heh, no reason to press my luck. Still, it's nice having this old thing in the arsenal.

American Personna in the plastic / metal dispenser. Perhaps they're better known as Personna Platinum Chrome? Though there are also Israeli made Platinum Chromes.

Not as close a shave as I was expecting. The cream was very nice - a sample passed on to me which said C&E on the top but didn't indicate the fragrance. I checked out the official lines on their website. As I have Nomad and by smell can rule out the others it was probably Sienna.

MWF on trial. Not sure how my face will react to the lanolin. Easy lather, somewhat animalic scent, face feels soft. Face is tingling very slightly that hints at a reaction.
