Brush - 'Mama Chub' (Chubby 2 Two Band)
Soap - Marlborough
Cold Rinse/ Witch Hazel/ Pacific Shaving ASB

Still waiting for my Jade 2XL to arrive, so I've chosen 'Mama Chub' to do the honours with the Marlborough... Not a happy bunny....I don't usually have a rough shave with the str8, so I can only assume that my technique was way off!! :-/

This morning:

Prep: Face wash, Imperial Leather bath soap, cold
Razor: Myers & Son 6/8"  hollow ground
Brush: Neep #1156 cocobolo chubby 24mm extra silvertip
Soap: Trumper's Eucris

Good.

Speick shaving stick
Toggle on 1 with 'Red' Personna
Henk walnut silvertip
Boots Freshwood a/s balm

The stick might be even better than the cream! Superb lather very easily and great smell. The blade matched perfectly with the Toggle. Great stuff

Friday 26th October

Hot Shower and Facial scrub
3P Pre/Post Shave cream
Gold Dollar 66 6/8 razor
Frank Shaving Richmond 24x50 Silvertip
Vitos Green Soap
Home prepared toner (based on cider vinegar)
Old Spice Original
Organic Shea Butter
Brylcreem Original

A special shave for me. Bargain basement ingredients..... but for me ....a fantastic result! I had stockpiled a few GD 66 razors and have been watching honing videos on Youtube. This evening I took one out of a box and honed it to shave readiness. I must have had my fair share of beginners luck as I managed a really smooth BBS. Having said that.....I dont think I will go near any of my good razors for a while yet!
