Gotta be one of the best shaves in a while. This mild razor/sharp blade combo is sooo comfortable and forgiving, even with the Feather blade.
The IK soap performed perfectly as it always does, with great post shave skin care as a bonus. Really smooth and soft face. Heh, spontaneous faceturbation in the works for today.

One of the cats had a crew cut today, she was _not_ a happy camper, I had to use a straight a couple of times (scissors and the pro cutter can't manage some of her hair when it gets to bad):
... but she's so easly distracted (kind of like that fish in "Finding Nemo" ):

Exactly the same as yesterday.
The razor was a GEM Featherweight (I think it's called)
Using yesterday's blade I did an extra pass and touch ups and got the closest shave ever. BUT still sore now, seven hours and a Proraso post-shave session later.
Will go for comfort tomorrow.
Just back from Scotchland. All last week I used the Feather Portable, various Supermax or Red Personna, T&H turnback in super and the Wilky soap stick. All good shaves. Oh yes, very nicely supported by Henk's #6 Dutch Moss ASB.

Can't believe it's 10 years already. The day that meant my first trip to the US was delayed by a few days, but meant I eventually got to NYC, if on much more more solemn levels than had intended...
Razor:Fontenille 6/8 Strop:Ambrose Cordovan (20/60) Preshave: Truefitt&Hill Ultimate Comfort shave oil Brush:Simfix Super Badger 2 Band lather:Williams shaving soap AS: Aqua Velva EdT:Czech&Speake, Oxford&Cambridge Comments: A fine shave, with some products simple and known, but really able to give a good feeling. The Williams is a bit tricky in Navarra, maybe this puck misses the streets of New York were it was bought, it has required some work to give lather enough, but finally I have arrived to the end of the shaving road smoothly. .
