Well my new EJ 89 arrived this morning, so I gave this very shiny razor a run out.
Body Shop Macca Root face wash
Tabac soap
Feather blade
Omega boar brush
Proffessor Blighty Lime witchhazel splash
Body Shop Face Protector moisturiser
Body Shop Activist cologne
The razor sits a head shorter that my Futur, but measures up quite well in length overall and heft. It's a mild shaver, a little more aggressive that my Tech, but nowhere near my Futur set at 1. First impressions are good, however I won't gush too much, I'll reserve judgement until after a month or so when the novelty of this razor wears off.
The Tabac performed with its usual lathery brilliance, the Prof's splash is good stuff and all of The Body Shop stuff is quality. A good start to the day.

First time with a Fatboy and I am very impressed. Not sure if it's because it's paired with a Superthin but it delivered an effortless, irritation free shave.

Haven't used an SE for while. Very close shave but a little raw (that's familiar) and some blood spots on top of chin. Also managed to slice through a flat mole on my cheek without even feeling it.
A good shave. Different. A little sore but Proraso should serve me better than my cheap watered down Witch Hazel
