All in all a lovely relaxing shave, they don't come much better.

Friday

Merkur 38C
Astra SP Blade
EJ Best Badger Brush
Trumper's Coconut Shaving Cream
D.R. Harris Pink a/s

Yes, that's right; I used a different brush!

Ian

Gillette Rocket HD
Gillette Bleue Extra
D R Harris Arlington cream
Witch Hazel
Styptic pencil

A smoother and close shave today. I'm not sure about this Rocket – doesn't seem to like my usual favourite blades – so stuck to something safe today. Will experiment over the weekend
I think aesthetically it is beautiful and I like the solid build - there must be a few blades in my collection that would suit this perfectly. So far Astra Superior Platinum is definitely out - feels rough and not close enough. Very odd as all my other razors love this blade!

Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Simpson, Polo 8
Razor: Globusmen
Soap: Nannys Ice and a Slice
AS: Proraso

Friday

Merkur Progress
Gillette Super Thin
Kent Soap
Kent VS60
Thayers
Nivea Cool Kick A/B
Regatta Flag & Sail Spice

Best shave since I've been back in England, the progress is a nice weapon dialled up and the GST made light work of the 2 day old wire wool.

Friday:

Merkur HD 34c
Perma-Sharp super
Nanny's French Lavender
Nameless 24mm 2 band badger
Floris Limes edt

After an exhausting few days working abroad in Luxembourg, it's great to have a day off and indulge in an afternoon shave with some of my favourite kit. Today's shave was leisurely, aromatic and super-smooth. Nice :icon_biggrin:

Friday noon

Feather SS (folding) with Feather ProGuard blade (#4)
Tabac stick
Durance brush
Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche after shave balm
Pashana after shave

Two passes and super clean smooth. Mikael, you gotta give these SS's a go, really. You'll be amazed how well they shave... The ProGuard blade may be way more expensive compared to the standard or the 'light' ones from the same brand, I can tell you though it is much more forgiving.

Back to Riga tomorrow, contract offer for new assignment to South Korea arrived couple of days ago, not inked yet (yes, there's always something to negotiate), start date is set for 01 December. Looks like Xmas will be spent in Ulsan this year (or shall I say Tokyo?)
