Good morning,

Friday

Feather and Futur
Musgo Real shave cream (cheers zig zag :shave )
Omega 81230 brush
proraso As splash
Boots moisturiser

The Musgo cream has been on my 'to buy' hit list for some time now, so I was glad to get the chance to try first. It has quite a strong Musgo scent (which I like) and is a nice cream. First impressions are good.
One WTG pass set on 5.

Thanks

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage Ever Ready badger
1958 Executive/Iridium
DR Harris Marlborough SS
Crown AS lotion (more like a thick balm)
DR Harris Marlborough cologne

BBS results,

Martin

Boab, this comes up if I have a pic wider than 600: "Your images may only be up to 600 pixels wide"

That's because the maximum dimension is 800x600, yours are 800x650.

Friday, 12.10.10

Aura Glow
Arko Shave Cream .. Limon
New Forest #2201 Superior Badger
J. Holler Tower Brand 6/8ths
SRD Premium I Strop .. 35 Linen/65 Leather
Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Nivea AS Balm
Aqua Velva Musk

The ARKO performs pretty well for a $2 cream.. The scent is a little over-the-top, but otherwise OK. The Tower Brand 126 is just awesome. One more experiment tomorrow and she'll be put away in favor of my next test..

Exceptionally good shave tonight, tried something new :D

  • Razor: Gotta 120 5/8
    Soap: Monsavon
    Brush: Fido NF2211
    Alum: RazorRock
    ASB: Sanex sensitive
    AS: Aqua Velva
    [/list:u]

Ok, it's either the monsavon, or the face lathering (first time) or my prep, but something made things right tonight!

Prep: I massaged my face with a small bit of baby-body lotion (Switsal = dutch) before applying lather.
Also went a lot easier on the razor. ( I'm more relaxed, so I put less pressure on)

Anyways, not at BBS stage yet, but getting there!

To lazy for a picture tonight.. sorry ;)

    Have clean & shaven :shave
