Saturday:
Razor: Gillette Fusion
Brush: Simpson Tulip 2 (two band Super)
Soap: D R Harris Almond
Aftershave: Taylor of Old Bond St #74 Original

Headshave using Gillette Fusion and Baby Oil

Gillette NEW - Gillette Bleue Extra (2) (Passes 1 & 2 - WTG, XTG)
Wilkinson Sword classic - Supermax Blue (1) (Buff pass)
WS Boar brush
Palmolive stick - milled
Boots Witch Hazel
Gillette ASB
Tabac AS

Brilliant shave - decided to try what I have seen a number of people do - do 1 or 2 passes with a slightly aggressive setup then follow up with a buff pass with a relatively mild setup. Worked a charm - smooth and verging in no irritation - just the adams apple which is always a problem for myself! The ASB was £1 from poundland and is very good IMHO, but I did have to finish on some Tabac - just because I personally find it divine

Very happy chappy :D

Trueman

On this great day for English cricket nice to follow Trueman.

Gave a rare run out to the monstrous Polo14. Crazy size but fun. Brings the unit cost per shave below £50. Jagger Chatsworth/Gillette Super Thin a great combination as is the Body Shop duo.

Lazy Saturday night shave after clearing loads of snow from the drive, road and back garden and before treating SWMBO to a meal out, I'm so good to her!

Gillette Sensor 3
Vulfix 404 bodger
MB Unscented
Thayers unscented Witch Hazel
DR Harris Arlington cologne

Seem fragrance doesn't work on my face I'm expanding my collection of colonges, this Arlington could easily become my go to scent!

Saturday Night:

    • - Le Tuft Urban Hermit's Black & Blues set (EJ8x razor head)
      - Lord Cool Super Stainless blade (palm stropped)
      - Crabtree & Evelyn Sienna shaving soap
      - Phytos Expert for Men ASB by Kalina
      - Skin Bracer Original by Mennen[/list:u][/list:u]

The C&E ended up discoloured from the stain/varnish used by whoever made the cheapo soap bowl I bought a few of off of eBay just after I started doing the wet shave thang.
        • ... it also ended up giving me that ol' 'perfume burn' sensation I get from some products.
            • ... so, it might be on the way out of my stash.[/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

Fortunately, the Phytos killed that perfume burn and the Skin Bracer made sure the embers were doused, but good!
