One too many shaves with the blade I think, normally change blade after 3 shaves and I'll go for another XTG next time. The shave itself is close but feel a little irritation and tightness of the skin - may dab more balm on in a while.

I like this blade, it gave a close nick/weeper free shave. Don't think I'll be buying any of the T&H Ultimate Comfort range any time soon. The cream lathered well enough in the hand and gave plenty of glide/cushion but much prefer a cream with more scent. For the second day the balm left my skin feeling tacky/greasy, give me T&Hs 1805 balm, boootiful stuff.

Ended up being a nice shave although by the second pass started to feel some irritation and a couple of weepers but nothing the WH and Nivea haven't sorted out. Quite like the Feather razor, don't see it mentioned too often but I think it would make a great first time razor, cheap as chips too Gonna give the Feather blade a couple more tries as I'm not sure if it was the blade or my technique that caused the irritation, probably the latter.
Still a nice close shave that I am happy with.
