Proraso sensitive pre/post
Semogue SOC
D R Harris Arlington soap
Gillette Slim + Super Thin blade
GFT Coral skin food
Arko Classic Soft Krem

4th shave with the Super Thin and no problems with it at all. The SOC is a very different proposition to a badger and I still end up with a little too much water in the knot. However, the overall quality of the shave was good and the Arko Classic Soft Krem is a good moisturiser for this cold time of year.

My technique with the new razor needs honing (excuse the pun) :roll:

But generally a very good neat, shave. Not bad at all for a first effort with a Rolls!

Very pleased!

Today was my 1st Grapewood experience.

'59 Fatboy
Bleue Extra (3)
NF 2201
Grapewood Soap
Grapewood ASB
Grapewood Cologne.

I must say i like the whole combination. The soap is very simple to make a slick and lasting lather which is very slippery (felt very much so on the between pass rinse).
The ASB again was very good, though i don't think i applied quite enough to start with.
The Cologne starts with a nice powerful Grapefruit scent and then dies down to how Mrs AJP describes as a subtle Musky scent - with Grapefruit hints.

Proff, you have a blinder in this one!

The Sunbury Soap
Taylor's sandalwood afteshave

A rather deliberate and careful shave, with very smooth results. It did feel like I was flying by the seat of my pants, given the unforgiving razor and the soap which is probably better adapted for DE use. What's really odd is that my brush now smells of curry. :shock:

Wring 3x. Within 30 sec explosion. 1.5min. 6 pass. Thinned 4th.

I hope everyone had an awesome holiday ( for those who are celebrating ) thus far. I'm gonna head out to a buddy's and be back.
