Did you stock up on the Italian Blue, Mikael, now that it's being discontinued?
(I though of doing so but easily managed to restrain myself  which naturally is considered to be a considerable achievement  :p
such a major achievement actually that I am considering to PIF something in order to 'commemorate' the occasion)

Razor / Blade: Gillette Adjustable / Gillette Super Thin

Brush: Edwin Jagger Chatsworth

Post: Boots Witch Hazel, Clinique Post Shave Healer, Holland & Barrett 99.9% Aloe Vera Gel.

Comments:

This was my first time with an adjustable razor, having purchased the Gillette from BlkKnight of this parish.
I started off with my usual first pass WTG at #1. So far, so same as using the tech (I think the Adjustable at setting one is the same as the tech)
Pass two, still on #1, this time XTG, everything going well and as per usual.

Pass 3, which is a diagonal against-the-grain on the face and a 'tidy up' on the neck, was carried out at setting #3, and I have to say the finish i got was heavenly. easily the best shave I've ever had, and left me with that "Is this my face I'm touching?" feeling afterwards.

I usually struggle with the areas just below the corner of my mouth, but the ADJ at setting 3 just left it smoother than I've felt it since I was a pre-teen.

A great, great shave, and an excellent razor added to my collection!
