Cheers! I was lucky getting hold of it. It used to belong to the biggest department store hear in Stockholm (the Harrods of Stockholm - NK). Anyhow, they had a barber shop where people could keep their own stuff (brush, straight, favourite soap etc) in a gigant chest of drawers and each drawer had a number - this mug belonged to no: 398
This was of course around the turn of century, and I´m not talking about the latest turn

Two points worthy of comment?
1) This is my first Sunday straight shave!
Just out of habit I continued to use my DE on Sundays. This was because of my fear, in the early learning days, of perhaps having to go to church with one of my ears hanging off!
2) I found an interesting tip on the Internet (So it must be true!! ) of rubbing a couple of drops of GFT skin food onto the surface of the shaving soap prior to loading the brush. This not only softens the dry soap but the glycerin helps the lather.
End result.......an amazing shave.
