As a break from SE shaving, decided to use my recent purchase from Russia. Had it set on 5 in case it bit. No need to worry on that
score , on that setting a very mild shaver. Overall the shave was smooth and the finish reasonably close. I found it to be relatively light compared to a Futur / Progress or Fatboy.

Might be a good purchase for a beginner, who wishes to increase the degree of aggression as he becomes more proficient at wet shaving. After all, does not cost too much.

The pur-tech is a lovely soft brush but is too dense at 28mm and needs so much pressure to splay the brush on your face it becomes uncomfortable - shame! Might be time to move it on.

Result - BBS++

Having put my second blade trial on a temporary hiatus, it's back to pure perfection. The Perma-Sharp Supers are probably my favourite blade, they are just so smooth and comfortable and incredibly sharp. The first pass WTG would most likely have been good enough for most people but a light ATG meant I was finished in two passes.
 
After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

Well it was between the President and his two gold family members, those being the Aristocrat and Diplomat. All of em shave me about the same which is very well, and I think the shiny rhodium must have tipped the scales. Nice getting this beauty wet again.

Needed a brush with lots of spunk to load the triple mill IK and the wonderful Spanish furry thing made it look easy.
