Astra SS (1)
MWF Soap face lathered
FS Finest Badger

Was in a rush but turned out pretty good for a Razor that doesn't get much use.

Gillette Aristocrat Junior
Personna Medical Prep (3)
Vie Long 13061 horsehair
Nanny's Arabian Twilight
Proraso Lozione dopobarba
Penhaligon's LP No. 9

It's brass monkeys this morning. I needed a spicy shave to see me through my walk to work. Now just need to gee myself up to get off the sofa. Time to buy a car...

Wednesday 12th December 2012
Prep: Shower
Razor: Ever Ready 1924 Shovelhead
Blade: GEM Stainless Coated
Brush: Omega 39 Boar
Soap: Cella
Aftershave: Wilkinson Sensitive Balm

A super close shave with the 24 which for some reason felt much less aggressive this morning than it usually does.

Regards
Dick.

Wednesday:

Professor Blighty's Harlequin AS
Semogue SOC Boar
#15 Aristocrat
Personna Red
Witch Hazel
Pinaud Clubman

Lovely shave, BBS results. First use of a Red Personna for ages.

Wednesday

Feather AC SS w/ Pro Blade
Edwin Jagger Silvertip Brush
L'Occitane Cade Shaving Soap
Clinique Post Shave Soother

The Cade soap seems to work very well with the Feather, for some reason.

Wednesday:Oh Dear!

Prep: Musgo Oak Moss Glycerin Soap with Muslin Cloth in shower
Pre: 2 x drops Somerset's Shaving Oil
Soap: Roger et Gallet hard shaving soap
Brush: Vie-Long Horse and Badger 14080
Razor: Merkur 38C
Blade: PolSilver Super Iridium
Post: Alum block, Somerset's Post Shave Balm, Proraso White

Mmm.. I'll persevere with this soap for a little longer, but so far not getting a half decent lather from it, despite trying several different techniques. It is quite old (I only rediscovered it recently after unpacking some boxes), so possibly has diminished with time. Smells nice, though!

Nuage Men shaving oil
Supermax Ultimate cream
EJ pure badger
EJDE89L, Supermax SS
RSC balm

DFS, couple of weepers. For such a budget cream can't complain, but I prefer others.

After the usual 1-2 minute nit towel prep:

vintage butterscotch Made Rite badger
'Webly'/Personna74 (NOS)
Surrey SS (pre VDH reformulation)
Lucky Tiger AS and Face Tonic
Givenchy 'Xeryus' EdT (old juice)

Eighth shave with the old Personna blade. Still sharp and smooth, which is pretty unusual for that many shaves. Normally I toss most blades after 3-4 uses, but this one's lasting lots longer.

BBS results,

Martin

Pre Veleiro soap + Queen Charlotte shaving cream sample + Vulfix 2234 Super + Weber Bulldog ARC with Feather #4 + Dino Gaetan splash with Proraso balm

Today I have tested this QCS cream sample. Really good scent, although I didn't note remarkable properties. Anyway with this Weber razor is difficult to have problems, so all went smooth!

Cheers!
