Weird shave 3 passes but not quite BBS. I can't seem to get this soap right, it smells fantastic but it always goes kind of stodgy.

Every now and then I decide to go extra smooth on the "troublesome" lower neck area. As usual, got some weepers, but 99% irritation-free once I'd alum'd and balmed. The Tech really did the business and it feels great now. Two passes and only one tiny touch-up required

Really getting used to the New Forest Brush now. Seems to be less lather in the bowl and more on the brush... I suppose that's how it should be!

That is the weirdest thing......I love that stuff as you probably know. I think maybe that Victor sent you some a while ago and I'm surprised it hasn't come together like it could so far. So when a lather goes 'stodgy', is that like going rogue?

Sorry buddy, it's not the soap.......heh.

I should figure it's me, just seems to lump up when lathered can't get a constant smooth lather.

Prep: Nivea Sensitive Face Wash, White Proraso Pre/Post, Hot Flannel
Soap: MWF
Brush: Duke 3 Best
Razor: Weber POL
Blade: Personna Med Prep (1)
Post: Alum, Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm

Result: Super smooth, BBS shave.

Will be using this GD for the final two shaves of the year. Almost 12 months ago I set myself a target. I wanted to take a razor and hone it from scratch......to give myself a shave ready razor. With some incredible luck and a lot of trial and error....this is that razor.
My first shave in three says gave me a comfortable BBS in 3 passes.

Soap: Proraso Menthol
Post: Proraso Menthol Post Cream
A/S: Proraso AS Splash

A nice 2 pass cold water face lather shave, nice and refreshing for a nice summers evening.....oh wait...

Razor: Feather All Stainless
Blade: Feather Hi Stainless
Brush: Neep Extra Silvertip Custom
Soap: Dr Dittmar Spezial
Post: Alum, Institut Karite ASB, Rituals Secret Samurai ASB

Rose early to have a nice slow, relaxed shave. Result : very nice, face and chin feels nice and smooth, made sure I got a really nice lather and concentrated on light touch, long steady strokes. Feeling good for a long day ahead.
