I put half a DE blade in a shavette once, lathered up, put it near my face ... and took the blade out again... Too bloody scary...

And I'm OK with straights, (although not a very accomplished straight shaver).

I went from cartridge to that type of shavette. I didn't look good after. Straight shaving is amazingly easy, and forgiving, in comparison. I'm now very proficient with the shavette but only do WTG now
