I think you're being a wee bit over-sensitive to what is, in my perception, mainly good-natured razzing from some of the guys here. Especially as you do make yourself the target by putting yourself forward. I love my Lord razor and I get great shaves with it.

I'm sure that The Sunster's is the serious blog ........... it's changed my life so Ima going to stick with it (Get it, get it ????). As far as razor weights are concerned I guess it's like the olde time dog fanciers (nice term for dog fighters) used to say ; "No good dog can be a bad colour (or color if you were an American dog fancier I expect)". I now confidently await some lateral thinker expounding the virtue of shaving with a sharpened quill razor, always allowing that the feather comes from a rare raptor located only on one mountain peak in the Andes which moults once every seven years.
At the risk of appearing even simpler than I am (no easy feat) ...........the razor which works well for you & you like is probably a wise choice ! End of !
