Can’t ask for any better really….Update from Steve at Alpha received today. He'll sort you out with a new cap if you have a problem one:
"It has come to my attention that a very small number of the razor heads have an issue with the blade locating posts on the top cap. A very few have been machined slightly oversize - by 0.02 mm - it is a tiny amount but it means that in some cases the blades do not quite fit or are a little tight. Please note that the Claymore Evolution is designed to work with Feather AC blades, Proguard and Softguard.
If you are one of the very few people that may receive a head that does not work please DO NOT PANIC. I will make this right. I have a stock of razor top caps that have been individually tested by me with ProGuard and Professional blades and if you find that yours is defective in ANY WAY then please let me know by email and I will arrange a replacement and the return of the original to me."
Absolutely. We know what to check when it arrives and Steve will sort us out worst case scenario. Good customer service. Can’t ask for any better really….
I’m still waiting with baited breath. No idea how long it takes to come from Hong Kong standard delivery.Absolutely. We know what to check when it arrives and Steve will sort us out worst case scenario. Good customer service.
I've bought direct from Steve a couple of times before and it's generally been between 10 and 14 days.I’m still waiting with baited breath. No idea how long it takes to come from Hong Kong standard delivery.
Exact same @SatanfriendlyIf it is the same as the ESC then my initial impression is I am impressed
Mine is still showing as departed HK on 9th September. No update since then. Does your tracking state its landed in the UK?Anyone received their razor from Alpha Shaving via snail mail yet? Mine has sat in UK Customs since yesterday morning.
Depends - it's a known issue but Steve at Alpha or Executive Shaving will put it right for you if you do end up with a problem one.I'm still tempted by the Claymore Evolution, but reports I've seen of some blades not fitting, and slightly uneven blade gaps, have put me off a bit. Am a being too cautious, I wonder.
Yeah, arrived yesterday and has sat in Customs at Langley, UK since 07.03am.Mine is still showing as departed HK on 9th September. No update since then. Does your tracking state its landed in the UK?
There's hope! I was wondering if I'd ever see it. If you don't mind me asking, what date was yours posted and what day did it depart HK? I'm wondering if mine was on the same flight but hasn't been scanned.Yeah, arrived yesterday and has sat in Customs at Langley, UK since 07.03am.
Can you spot my impatience? I know the information won't help in the slightest but I'll feel moderately satisfied if there's a certain illusion of control over the matterThere's hope!
