Alpha are stating they will send it “customs friendly” by marking its value at $10.
The stand and blades are a good addition. I’m also unsure if the ESC razor has anything etched into the base plate.
Price from Alpha is £110 unless you go for Express shipping
Which is still a good price but the ES one will be £99 with our discount code.

Got to admit, I have cooled towards the Claymore, it looks very similar to my Hawk V3.

I was seconds away from doing the same last night but decided I don't need a stand I’ll never use, so will hold off.
ESC are hoping for their delivery to arrive this Friday and will announce availability via social media and emails (if you’ve signed up to be notified when it’s in stock).
Having physically held and looked at the razor I’m looking forward to giving it a try.

Alpha Shaving just talked me into it by offering a 10% discount for an “incomplete order” after I stopped halfway through last night’s purchase. That’s for razor, stand and pack of Feather Professional AC blades.

That's a great deal. Now I feel ripped off
I'm always keen to try a new AC razor, but have been put off a bit by how closely the latest Claymore resembles the Hawk V3. I was also hopiung for a pretty aggressive razor, and this might not fall into that category. I'll wait and see what users think, and then probably buy one whatever they say.

I am hoping for an improvement over the Hawk which is a kind of okay razor, but not the smoothest.

Update from Steve at Alpha received today. He'll sort you out with a new cap if you have a problem one:
"It has come to my attention that a very small number of the razor heads have an issue with the blade locating posts on the top cap. A very few have been machined slightly oversize - by 0.02 mm - it is a tiny amount but it means that in some cases the blades do not quite fit or are a little tight. Please note that the Claymore Evolution is designed to work with Feather AC blades, Proguard and Softguard.
If you are one of the very few people that may receive a head that does not work please DO NOT PANIC. I will make this right. I have a stock of razor top caps that have been individually tested by me with ProGuard and Professional blades and if you find that yours is defective in ANY WAY then please let me know by email and I will arrange a replacement and the return of the original to me."
