Pre - Shower
Brush - Semogue SOC BTS Boar
Soap - Proraso Wood & Spice
Razor - Blutt BR1 - 0.86
Blade - Wizamet Super Iridium
Post - Cold water Rinse
Balm - Tonyschin's Cedarwood Balm & Argan Oil
A/S - Pinaud Brandy Spice
The shave and the finish was an easy 10/10, loads of great scented lather from the wood & spice cream, enough made for 3 passes so i took the opportunity to use it up. The Blutt as always smooth and forgiving.
The clean up though was about a 2/10, i have always found Proraso soaps down right dirty, they leave a white soapy scum on everything they touch - YWMV, sink, bowl, brush and razor needed a real deep clean.
I will not buy anymore of their soaps or creams once i have finished them, pity really as i really like the W&S and "Red" versions. Just minging to clean up.

Today's theme, 'Musical Monday' so the aim being to pick any Soap that is musically inspired. I'm not particularly into electroswing, to be fair I'd never heard of it before this set. But if you want a summer scent this'll do the trick, almost fruity.
Additional challenge was to draw a soap as well, preferably the one you're using, could use any medium (digital, watercolor, pencil etc etc), decided for good ole pencil and pen. Can't draw faces in the slightest so forgive the faceless entity, and the little people on the LP turned into smudges with the fineliner.
Smooth and smelling good.

The Duke 3 synthetic was a little lather monster this morning. To me, the Simpson Platinum fibre is a touch more luxurious than the Simpson Sovereign fibre, which is itself really good, and more densely packed. A very happy shaver.Simpson Duke 3

Another shave to compare the new and old Nacets, I think they are slightly different blades. The old one seems a touch smoother. I seemed to have developed an allergy to the Derby Shaving Stick though, my face burns a little during the shave when the lather sits on my face. Another soap to add to the PIF pile!

Henson AL-13 - Treet Silver Edge - Frank Shaving two-band - Signature Capra - LPL Apricot - Avon moisturiser.
A weekend at the sea shore - my skin took a kicking from the wind, sun and salt spray. Time to apologise to my face. Only one soap for the job - as far as I am concerned - Signature unscented goat's milk base. The most 'healing,' moisturising and restorative of any soap I own. End of. My skin feels great again and I look somewhat rugged and windswept.

Following my superb SOTD with the Hawk V2 yesterday I decided it was good to go with the Hawk A today. Same blade and my conclusion is that the A is milder than the V2 but not a bad razor for all that. It’s quite nice occasionally to finish a shave and not feel you’ve flushed a layer of epidermis down the plug hole.
Great Rubberset brush and scented Bay Rum shave cream in my old treen ware bowl completed the shave experience dfs.

Same as yesterday's shave but with DVH shaving soap.
Is this still being made? It's a good shaving soap and was very cheap when I bought it about eight or nine years ago.
Trying to use up this Shaving Shop aftershave gel. Such a shame the scent has really weakened over time as that was the best thing about it (I don't find it particularly soothing and it leaves a slightly sticky residue on the skin)
