I was on Amazon the other day buying a battery for a guitar tuner, and decided to look for one of these cheap Chinese razors, and it was harder to find than you would think. Was it worth the effort? Probably not. The shave was socially acceptable, but, although twice the price, an Edwin Jagger DE89 gives a far better shave. Spending less may well prove to be false economy, good travel razor though.

Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,364

Decided to try the shallow end of the pool today with the .80 Titanium head. The open comb and staright bar sides felt equally comfortable and the angle is easy to find. Don't ask me what the cutting angle is as I never put a protractor to my face. Let's just say it is easy to find the correct cutting angle and get a close shave. A little more buffing was needed to get to the same smooth shave I desire but was easily done without any irritation whatsoever. It's been a pleasure sampling this fine collection. It's clear Augustin has done his homework and trialing things before presenting rather than aftr the fact and then needing to correct things. Will try the SS 1.0 Gap tomorrow. Everyone have a great day !

A perfect shave with this lot. Taking your time and using the right angle on the ASD2 gets you BBS in 3 passes. The Iced Pineapple was also lovely, with just enough menthol to let you know it’s there but not enough to shock you!

Razor: Feather ASD2
Blade: Feather (1)
Soap: Stirling Soap Iced Pineapple
Brush: Semogue 830 Boar
Pre-shave: Bloom water
Post-shave: Stirling Soap Executive Man balm
Bowl: Face lather

Now back home after a work and travel day of 19.5 hours. In at 03:00, managed to make my 09:00 meeting, bit didn't realise until I had a 1 to 1 video call that I looked like absolute shite!
Shower and then shave mid morning left me feeling much better, although I'm starting to flag a little now!
As soon as I saw it out - obviously didn't tidy my stuff up before I left - thought, excellent!
Had a really nice shave and realised how much better the weightier and slightly more aggressive Tech is compared to the later, lighter version I've been using on my travels.
Looks like I'll be travelling a bit more for work, so when I'm driving, will just take whichever gear I want, rather than going lightweight!
Cracking return home shave

Rooney 1/1 Faux Ivory Finest (22/45)
Penhaligon's Endymion shaving cream
LASSC BBS-1
Personna 74 Tungsten (3)
Guerlain Habit Rouge aftershave

The scent of the cream has never been one of my favorites from Penhaligon's, but it has grown on me over time. The razor always brings out the best in a blade, as does this blade for just about any razor. The old aftershave was quite cloudy with particles, so I ran it through a coffee filter before rebottling it and using it on my face.

BD49E4D3-C5C7-4CA7-9C5B-9D6C21C2A5EC.jpegDecided i wasn’t shaving tonight then i got away from work after two hours with nothing to do so obviously the shave was on lol.
I Decided to go with the proraso and believe it or not i’m a Red Virgin we’ll sort of.
It’s a first for me with this Proraso,
iv used the others but never this one but i have to say i was pleasantly surprised,
would i buy another one when this is finished
probably not but only because there is better Sandlewood scents out there but off course treble the price.
matched with the boots the chemist aftershave and the simpsons balm it turned out to be a cracker.
Again the Potato Peeler was fantastic with the pro guard.
Once i’m home i’ll probably experiment more with the plates or certainly plate 3.
This Job i’m doing is a bit buggered up so hopefully i’ll get home for a week fingers crossed.
that gives me time to take home what iv used & restock although iv still got plenty lol.
Ok last enjoy your night & the rest of the week
Stay Safe

Today's 6pm cold water shave.
Four days growth with a Proguard, #1st shave.
Today I let more of the blade show & OMG was the best shave I've had
using this razor. There was blood but it was down to me, not the razor.
Easy shave, no drag at all. Very little burn from the Alum.
Finally getting to grips using this razor!
