Ganders Goat Soap w/Hop, Sage & Birch
Butters Sandalwood Shaving Soap
Razorock Hive w/Mokasoft Synthetic 24mm
Gillette Mach3 Limited Edition & Gillette Mach3 Cartridge (7)
Harvard Sandalwood Aftershave

Super stuff, that Harvard aftershave. Not overly alcoholic but still a refreshing and non-cloying splash. They got it very right for a modern splash. The sandalwood (and vanilla, presumably) was like splashing on cream soda. Lovely! I right fancy a cool glass of cream soda now ...

Great set up = Great shave - simple.
Stay safe and enjoy your day all.
Mitchell's and a Muhle synthetic. What a joy!

Not quite as it wouldn't be an SOTD if there wasn't Japenese ladies involved. A return to a favourite of mine from the wonderful Stereopony

Wed 4 SOTD
Soap Lothur Dave
Brush Yaqi 24mm Robin Clear Handle
Razor Yaqi DLC
Blade Persona X Series 5th
Aftershaves Stirling Witchhazel MitA + Lothur Dave Splash + Captain's Choice Venture Balm
Finally, whipped up the best lather out of this soap so far! Richly creamy and very slick! The scent is pleasant & light!
My best cheap non-adjustable DE! Today, paired with this surprisingly good blade gave me one of the best shaves! Based on initial use, I never thought this blade can go so far but it was unbelievably crisp, smooth, and efficient! 3passes without any issues, I get one of the best bbs finishes I've ever had in a long time! The aftershaves were just terrific!

Brush: PAA Switchback Oumo
Soap: Signature Soaps Valentia
Razor: Blackland Era SB Level 5
Blade: GSB (1)
Post: Signature Soaps Velentia AS

Great shave this morning, first try with Signature Soaps (a scandal I know), bloomin impressed. Minimal loading as it's quite soft but amassed a lot of thick slick lather with more than enough for a comfortable 3 pass.

Combined with the Era resulted in a nice finish. Like the scent as well, seems like it'll have decent staying power. Massive thumbs up, can't believe it's taken me this long!

Hope everyone has a cracking day!

Cheers

Marc

Glad you like it. Best Regards Brian

Wednesday:

After reading some of the other threads, about the flare tip Superspeed's and TV Specials and which one gives better shaves, I thought it would be only fitting to use my bog standard Z3 flare tip Superspeed. [But still a cracking razor in superb condition.]
I've gone for a Minora blade, as I reckon it's likely the same as many of the other Gillette's that I like based on my first try of them last month.

Soap and splash is Fine Latigo. I do like the 'Leathery' scent with a bit of face feel.

The shave itself produced the easiest BBS in the last few weeks, This is a super razor and as I thought, the blade is similar to a Perma-sharp. I was finished in 3 passes, no pick-ups needed which made me feel I'd finished my shave too early. I'd have quite happily done a fourth pass.

Have a good day all 'cause I'm now in a brill mood! Work won't know what has hit it!
Gary

Wed 4th May

Alpha G4 Syn 28mm
Lea Classic soap
RR Hawk V3- A Plate
Feather Pro ( 3 )
Lea Classic A/S Lotion.

Going out later for Family meal so wanted a quality fool proof Shave. As it went so well the other day I chose to use my Hawk V3- A plate again. Since pairing it up with a Feather Pro it delivers Top Notch Shaves in terms of comfort and finish.
