Monday morning and time to try out this beast following the recent generous PIF :eek: I took @Scorpio93 's advice on blade, and pulled an Astra SP from the stash - I'm sure I'll put more of my go-tos through it in the near future. It's testament to my improved technique over the last year that the shave relatively uneventful, save for a little nick below my filtrum. It is difficult to achieve a sufficiently shallow angle with the bullish head, but I shall persevere. So yes, it's an aggressive shave compared to my Merkur 34, but it actually felt more intuitive than the Fine Marvel and only slightly more exposed than the Parker Interceptor. Definitely one I'll enjoy working with in the coming months.

Monday
I like the Fine soaps, they always seem to lather very nicely and it doesn't matter which brush I use. Today, the Zenith boar performed admirably, despite the amount of splay.

I like to try and match soap to a/s scent, so until Fine bring out a matching Barber Blue splash, looks like I'll keep using the Blue, despite it being a little more summer-y.
DFS after 2 with pick ups.
