A late one for me had a busy day today trying to dodge this fine bank holiday weather..I nipped into savers and saw this new Nivea balm at £2.99 so picked one up have to say it’s very nice and refreshing it paired well with the macca root, similar to the other Nivea balms quite a mild scent. Had a great shave with the TI again feeling super smooth and ready to get a some rest

Pre: hot shower, preshave oil massage
Brush: yaqi 24mm purple haze
Soap: Boellis Panama 1924
Razor: hawk v2 hulk green
Blade: Feather Professional AC #6
Post: cold water rinse, alum block, l’occitane cedrat aftershave balm
Was going to use the straight today, however not ended up getting enough time, so went for a hawk. Definitely an enjoyable shave, and I feel like using straight somehow helps me improve my technique with both DE’s and the hawk too - not sure whether it does make sense but definitely feels like it. 1 pass and I was already at DFS. 3 passes left me BBS all over.
Face lathering with the soap created plenty of nice slick lather. This soap definitely does perform exceptionally well! Enough lather for 3 passes.
One small weeper that alum block easily sorted out. Finished off with a l’occitane cedrat balm .

Top-quality performance soap! Just a little makes a thickly creamy and very slick lather...with a mild pleasant scent.
Shave with razor paired with the blade was very good. Smooth and comfortable for 3passes without any issues for a mostly bbs result. Great session capped-off by excellent aftershaves.

Prep: Warm shower:/Asda Tingly Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel.
Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Pears ~ Transparent Bar Soap With Mint Extracts. + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Omega 10077.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: OSP ~ Grapefruit & Menthol Shaving Cream.
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum. (D3)
Razor: Merkur 34C.
Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezings, Cold Water Face Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils. +3 Menthol Crystals, Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./ Aloe Vera Gel./Proraso ~ Eucalyptus and Menthol ASL.

Early morning shave.
The OSP cream provided a superb protective lather, which left a nice post shave feeling to my face, the 34C/Astra SP worked together wonderfully.
A Enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report.
Finishing the shave off a with a generous splash of Proraso ~ Eucalyptus and Menthol ASL.
My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

That's a tough one Russ. Each time I smell either the red, blue or black it becomes my favourite... then I sniff another one and so it repeats

Post: Brut ASL
Video call to start the day after dropping the kids at school and walking the dog. Thus a no-nonsense setup was selected. Mogno still outperforms its price-point, the London Bridge was good for a third go (but will now be banked) and Brut's Brut! I can't wait for my wife to return to working from home later in the week so I can lock the bathroom door and faff about a bit more before work!
