A belting shave with the ‘Schick Buster' this evening. The Injectors, for me, are smooth, efficient razors that I can whip round my chops (with due care) in relatively quick time.

Nice lather from the Bothy, campfire and vetiver.

That GGR Highland Bothy has really grown on me. Delighted to now have my own! [emoji1362]

+ 1 on the Ying lli, I was kindly gifted one by a work mate, and as you said they are very smooth & effective.

A sumptuous shave - the Gillette Spoiler really does pair well with the Wolfman. Three passes for a DFS+.
My first shave with the P&B Pall Mall soap. I must thank those esteemed gentlemen @Barry Giddens and @Boru62 for this recommendation. You were spot on, lads (y). Typical for the P&B brand, the soap was very easy to lather and provided excellent performance. I really like the scent - it immediately reminded me of two other soaps in my den, they being Cold River Soap Works Glide Barbiere Sapone and Declaration Grooming Colonia Balsamica. I pulled these soaps out after the shave and did a side-by-side sniff test. Whilst all have similar dominant citrus notes, the distinguishing feature of Pall Mall is a balancing earthiness, similar to Spitfire but much subtler.
The classic and original Kölnisch Wasser, produced by the good folk at Farina since 1709, was a lovely match for the Pall Mall soap scent.

Shaving recipe for today.


Prep: Warm shower:/ L'OREAL ~ Birch Sap Shower Gel.


Pre:

Cold wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Soap. /Bloom water face wash.

Brush: Semogue 1438.

Face Lather.

Soap: Scottish Fine Shaving Soap.

Blade: Treet ~ 7 Days Platinum.(2)

Razor: Kanzy K100.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade menthol crystals +Eucalyptus peppermint,+ Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./Brut~ Attraction Totale ASL.


Morrisons ~ Fresh Aloe Moisture Lotion.

Another early morning shave...


The kanzy k100 was kindly passed on to me,along with a Yingjili 8306L Razor and a few more other shaving items by a work mate, both a good non-aggressive razors with a 'tech type head',the kanzy k100 has a nice weight to it,with a closed head with no blade over-hang and is comfortable to shave with. Another razor that paired up well with the treet blade wonderfully resulting in a wonderfully smooth 3 pass + pick ups near bbs shave with no errors to report.

The Scottish Fine Shaving Soap never fails to provide me with a excellent slick protective lather once it's been bloomed in warm tap water for 5 minutes..Superb shaving soap.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Morrisons ~ Fresh Aloe Moisture Lotion.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine. ;)
