Razor: Muhle R41 (2018)
Blade: BIC Chrome Platinum
Brush: Plisson Synthetic
Soap: Tabac Stick
Aftershave: Simple Moisteriser
EDP: Miller Harris Le Cedre

I am continuing with my single shave blade tests with this razor and so far have tried thirteen different blades. This particular one stands out as considerably better than all the others I have tested so far in every respect. This is a complete surprise to me as the reviews on this blade are very mixed, perhaps it is just the case that it is a 'perfect fit' for the shaving geometry of this razor.

This older Liojuny 24mm Finest feels noticeably different from the brushes the same company now sells under its new name, Maseto. The Liojuny is less dense, has less backbone, is not as soft and loses the occasional hair. In other words, it behaves much like one used to expect a £30 brush from China to behave not long ago. (Maybe I should order another Maseto, just to make sure I have enough...?)

A lovely shave to prepare me for the ordeal ahead. Apparently, we are shopping for our spring and summer ‘wardrobes'. Where did it all go wrong? Have a great weekend gents.
