Tuesday

Morning, all.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: Sodial/Rimei
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue 43)
Brush: Ecotools Kabuki
Shave cream: RSC
Aftershave: M&S Wood Spice

Easy, smooth shave.

Tuesday

Fitjar Neroli cream
NF Tubby 2
Streamline
Gem blade
Alum
DR Harris Windsor AS

A very nice three pass shave. Unusually for me I reached for the alum post-shave, I stopped using it because I didn't like the way it made my face feel, its use this morning reminded me that indeed I don't like it. Worth trying out agin though. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Razor: Standard Razors black model.
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1).
Brush: Simpson's TSN LE P8.
Pre: Myrsol Emulsion.
Cream: D. R. Harris Windsor.
Aftershave: D. R. Harris Windsor.
Aftershave balm: D. R. Harris Windsor.
EdT: D. R. Harris Windsor.

I swirled the cream with my brush and I can see the bottom of the tub, I'm not sure if that is a good or a bad thing. The Standard Razors razor is quite mild but very good, it's a shame they've made it ultimately not very standard and a nice after market handle is out of the question. The handle uses an M3.5 or M4 male thread or maybe the imperial equivalent, giving that the company is American.

Blade: Crystal (personna super platinum) (3)
Brush: Muhle krona synthetic
Soap: Body shop shave cream
Post: Nivea balm

Good shave but first time I have had any weepers, maybe too aggressive with 2 shims.
Back to Merkur 1904 I think will try with 1 shim later.
