Razor Max Sprecher 8/8 French point in hunter orange G10
Strop Kanayama cordovan #8000
Rooney heritage stubby 2
Mitchell's Wool Fat
Witch hazel
L'Occitane Baux aftershave balm
Tom Ford black orchid Eau de Parfum

The very first shave with the Max Sprecher, very impressive razor indeed.

Shower/face wash
King of Shaves shave oil
Gillette open comb New with a Gillette 7 o'clock yellow
New Forest Tubby brush
Kiehl's Lite Flite cream lathered in a cup (which seems to work better than straight to face)
Two passes
cold water followed by toner.
Kiehl's Ultimate post shave balm
Finished off with Kiehl's Facial Fuel and EDT.

The New is a really easy razor to deal with escpecially for double passes. The Kiehl's cream leaves skin great but isn't the easiest to use.
Feel ready for the day now.

Prep: Sauna
Brush: Simpson Polo 8
Razor: Max Sprecher
Soap: Nannys French Lavender
AS: Floris Elite
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Uberclean :D

What a nice shave, got a nick high on my chin when I was finsihed and wiped away some lather. I've been using the sauna altely (off duty now) and it's really a brilliant prep!

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Proraso pre-shave - sensitive
Soap: Murdock Avalon cream
Bowl: Woodhead Pedestal
Brush: Omega boar 10005
Razor: Fatip + Templ8 handle
Blade: Sputnik (2)
After: Proraso AS, Zirh ASB

Another day with Murdock cream, this time without their pre-shave oil and ASB. Again my skin feels a little tight afterwards so I believe it must be the shave cream. Strange feeling, not uncomfortable or dry but "younger". I can't remember any other cream/soap having this effect. I'll try a different cream but use Murdock ASB tomorrow to see if the ASB also has this effect.

Good shave, although I still prefer the Weber for a fuss-free great result razor.

Have a great day folks.

Soap from Alepo - Chubby 2 best badger - Schick Krona - Astra green #3 - Pre JASÖN - Shaving soap Sir Irish Moos - Alum block - Thayers Original Astringent - ASB Sir Irish Moos - ASL Sir Irish Moos.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage butterscotch rebranded Simpsons best
Schick F type injector/Gillette Platinum Plus (NOS)
Kent SS
Neutrogena oil free moisture
Givenchy 'Xeryus' EdT (old juice for you oak moss fans)

Last few weeks shaves have been with this old injector and the Webly frankenrazor. Came close to changing off with another razor in the arsenal, but couldn't bring myself to give up even one perfect shave. Yeah, I was thinking about getting either the Diplomat, the #58, or the Executive wet, but couldn't pull the trigger. Silly eh?

BBS results,

Martin
