Blade: Rapira Swedish Steel (3)
Post: Myrsol agua balsamica, followed by Proraso balm

First time with this brush. Lathered the cream in about 10 seconds. Amazing slick fragrant lather!

Awesome shave, the Progress is still impressing me, even with 2 days growth and the Zorick, it was close and smooth. Cracking shaver.
(Oh and did I mention how good the Frank Shaving Silvertip is? Awesome!!)

What better razor for a quick shave than the slant? Quick down and up and out the door. I haven't used the Proraso for ages but it really is good stuff. I'm not too taken on the scent, but the performance is great.

Dodgy, I was surprised when you borrowed my progress you weren't sold in it. Now I know it was only the handle length. Glad you got yourself a good fit. Closer than your go to razors you say? :) the enabler is enabled!

Result: A menthol morning. It's safe to say that my chin is tingling with refreshment!

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

Ebony Sir Brian brush
Progress/Schick Plus Platinum (NOS)
Beter Shave vintage NOS stick used like soap ( sent by the Good Doctor)
Lucky Tiger AS and Face Tonic
Guy Laroche 'Drakkar Noir' EdT (vintage juice)

Second shave with this old soap and it's some good stuff. I cut a few thin pieces off the stick and have it in a 2 cup bowl for plenty of room while loading.

Very nice cushion and slip, with a faint, clean soapy scent remaining. Post shave skin care is really excellent. The Good Doctor mentioned this stuff being a treasure, and I'm glad he sent me some to sample. Thanks for the enabling, Doc!!
