Prep: Hot shower, Dove Men+Care Revitalising Face Wash
Pre: Cold water splash, Proraso Crema Pre Barba Green
Brush: Morris & Forndran Blonde Badger Ivory Beehive
Cream: Erasmic Lather Shave Cream
Razor: ATT Atlas R2 Open Comb
Blade: Sputnik #1
Post: Kiehl's Blue Herbal Astringent, Kiehl's Ultimate Men's ASB

Result: Had been looking forward to the Atlas and it hasn't disappointed. Just two passes for a very close, smooth shave. Splendid. Feels wonderful in the hand and I even like the short handle, it somehow feels right.

All the best, gentlemen.

Jon

Cream: Erasmic Lather Shave Cream

I'm loving the contraption to roll up the tubes and squeeze out all the available cream ... genius!!

The Tube Key. Crabtree & Evelyn sell them for £2 and also gratis with a tube of cream. Great little gadget

Prep: Shower, Boots Face Wash
Razor: Rocket HD
Blade: Gillette Rubie
Brush: Muhle Synthetic Gen 4
Soap: Mama Bear's Dragon Blood
AS: Proraso
AB: Nivea

I'm not sure what to make of the Rubie blade, it seemed to tug a little bit did provide a decent shave overall.

I returned to a couple of old standards post shave today as my skin has been really sensitive recently and my neck has quite a bad rash.

Cheers

Molton Brown soap
Simpson Commodore X3
Cella
Feather AS D2
Personna med prep (4)
Myrsol Blue
Thayers original
Diptyque Tam Dao

Very smooth shave today. Surprised by how soft the 'best' hair is in a Simpsons brush. One of my best BST purchases so far. The Personna blades are also creeping towards being my favourite blades.

Prep: Hot Shower
Razor: Cobra Classic
Blade: Feather ProGuard
Brush: Vie-Long
Pre: Proraso Pre Shave Cream
Soap: J.Peterman 1903

Again the Cobra Classic was awesome(3rd shave) this is an amazing razor IMO and i recommend it, everything was perfect from Prep to Post and BBS, Wow :icon_razz:

EJ DE3D, Shim, Rapira Swede
Hand-carved Beech 24mm Finest Fan
Kent Soap
AA Bay Citrus PSB
AA Bay Citrus EdT

Falling out of love with the EJ? My preference may just be creeping toward vintage Gillettes especially TTOs like the Rocket HD & #58. Fat Tech and New as well. Poor results, especially on the right side of my neck which felt fine at shaving time but later developed good old-fashioned razor rash. Should've used an alcohol splash before the balm anyway - I know my skin and that's what works best but I thought a wee change might work. Now I know why I hate change.....

Fancy a trying Stahly head on an old ball end handle I have. Could be be good.
