Bulldog Face Wash
NSS Citrus Zinger (Original)
Kent Infinity Silvertex
Gillette Contract Tech - Gillette 365 [3]
Hot Rinse, Cold Rinse & Alum Wash
4711

Bowl Lathered
Two Pass - WTG & XTG

I love NSS soaps! The face feel afterwards is just lovely.

The Tech played very nicely indeed with a third run on this Gillette 365 - a very capable blade, thin, smooth and forgiving.

Lovely splash of citrus afterwards to revive the citrus soap. All in a lovely shave. Not overly close, but smooth and very presentable. Nice.

Pre: Proraso green pre-shave cream
Soap: Irisch Moos stick (face lathered)
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 synthetic
Razor: EJ DE89 with Ikon handle
Blade: Gillette "SharpEdge" (2)
Post: Thayer's witch hazel, followed by Irisch Moos balm

I'm not used to face-lathering, but this stick is great stuff. Easy 3-pass BBS.

Brush: Semogue 1520

Razor: EJ DE89 (+ Feather)

Post: Cold water + Alum, Trumpers Sandalwood Skin Food

Great Shave! Had some rough shaves of late (put it down to rushing). Took my time, went back to basics, proper prep, concentrated on a light touch with no pressure, and guess what? - A very close comfortable shave (well I'll be damned).

Gillette 7 O'Clock
Derby (1)

Really nice smooth shave.
Beginning to think the 7 O'Clock will give a good shave with any blade. Though think Sputnik is the best so far.

Have a good Ťhursday

Wash with dove soap and hot water followed by hot towel.
Palmolive soap stick.
Gillette tech razor
Personna blade
Cheap brush.
M&S woodspice AS.
Nivea ASB.

First pass wasnt good. Lather seamed ok but blade was tugging no matter what angle I tried.
I dumped the lather and went back to my trusty TOBS lemon and lime, the other passes were more smooth but not as good as I am used to.
A little stinging but no nicks or weepers.
I did put a new blade in today, I wonder if that could have been a factor.
