Cold water Shave
Arko Stick (prob not the best for cold water...)
FS Silvertip
Progress [2.5, 1.5)
Feather [1]
Arko Ice Mint ASB
Floris # 89

First time I have revisited the Feather since my initial couple of weeks into DE. Its completely different from my first go; it did not feel as sharp and smooth as a Rapira Swedish, Personna LB or a Polsilver SI. I really don't see what people see in this blade. There are better blades IMO!
Still a DFS though ;)

Not the most comfortable of shaves but got the results.

Brush: Orchid Isles 24mm Silvertip on Curly Koa handle
Razor: EJ DE89 with Ikon handle

Not a bad 3-pass DFS, but blade was tugging the whole time again.

Turkish no.6 horsey
Italian Denim shave cream
Indian Pearl SSH01 short handle OC
German Wilki classic for the neck loaded with wilki blade
Russian Astra SS

WTG plus ATG does it, DFS.

Gone back a bit to the Pearl, this is one aggressive razor but never ever bite, what a bargain!

Prep : cold water and Proraso Sensitive pre shave
Brush : Omega 40033
Soap: Palmolive stick grated into bowl
Razor : Gillette 7 O'Clock head on a Braveheart handle
Blade : Supermax Blue Diamond
After: Nivea sensitive post Shave Balm

Back to my favourite razor I think. First time with the blue diamond blade, first about 4 passes felt rough then it suddenly smoothed out, weird but a good near bbs with a wtg and xtg pass and quick buff so can't complain.

Have a good day

Paul

Panna crema vetiver
Kent Infinity Silvertex
Unknown telescopic razor
Gillette Stainless
Home made lime balm

Excellent BBS result! Really surprised as this was the last of these not great blades

Wednesday

Nanny's Yushu
New Forest Tubby 2
Aristocrat Junior
Gillette 7 o'clock SharpEdge
Indian Old Spice AS

A beautiful sunny day in the north, the Yushu is a perfect scent for a sunny day with the performance to match. BBS results.

Durham Dubarry - Personna Carbon Steel [1]

After a great shave last night, first time with a FaTip ... tonight, I just wanted a good simple pass, but I couldn't resist a second one to really give a lovely close shave. The DuBarry is not as fun as the T Type, but it's good, it works and it is give the self-same great results that all Durham razors do. Pretty much a "safety straight".
Hey Paul,

I'm increasingly intrigued by the Durham razors. Been looking at the bay (of evil?) this morning and seeing quite a couple of Durham Duplex that, to my eye, do not look any different to your DuBarry. So can you enlighten me as to the various models and also the blades they accept?

Thanks

Jon
