Bulldog Face Wash
NSS Citrus Zinger (Original Recipe)
Kent Silvertex Infinity
Durham Duplex - Personna Carbon Steel [2]
Hot Rinse, Cold Rinse & Alum Wash
Old Spice Noir

Face Lathered
Three Pass - WTG, XTG & ATG

Second run with the carpet blade and it's settled in. This was a lovely shave, so smooth and efficient that a third pass to really finish off was just lovely.

Old Spice Noir is an interesting one - I rather think it would be happier with a Brut label on it, though. Nice enough, nevertheless.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

ebony Brian Brush
Hoffritz Futur/Super Iridium
Xpec SC
Lucky Tiger AS and Face Tonic
Jacomo de Jacomo' EdT (8-10 year old juice)

Damn, this original scent shaving cream is pretty good.

i think it's my fourth Futur shave.....really a nice razor. Big and clunky, but still easy to waltz around my face, even under my nose. Has enough weight to let the razor take care of any pressure needed, so that's one less thing to deal with. Very smooth results, better than the Webly for sure. This has the potential to leave a mark pretty easily, so I need to pay some attention during the shave. No drifting off with this thing on my face.

Glad to finally try one of these things. i wasn't optimistic but it turned out fine.

BBS results,

Weber PH / UFO Kaiser
Rapira Super Stainless
Thäter 49125/1 3-band
La Toja cream, Classic
Lucky Tiger Face Tonic

Closer yet less comfortable than the Feather AC. Makes me want to try the AS-D2.

Nice and smooth. I love the 39c. It is so consistent and it gives a lovely close shave without ripping your face off. I have had no irritation whatsoever in the time I've been using it. I don't get much anyway but with some of my razors I get a few ingrowns from shaving too close. Looking forward to trying out some different blades now.
