Anniversary shave! We're 13 years :D

DSC06348.JPG

Bulldog Face Wash
Wickham's Super Smooth English Rose
Kent Infinity Silvertex
Durham Dorset
Personna Carbon Steel [6]
Hot Rinse & Cold Rinse
Pinaud Lilac Vegetal

Face Lathered
Two Pass - WTG & ATG

Heavier than my plastic handled T-Type, this Dorset was allegedly designed for fellow with heavier beards. In use, I don't feel much difference to the other T-Types. It's a nice razor, though and this carpet cutter now at six shaves is about done. I've stropped after each couple of shaves and it's done well.

Splashing the Veg on after was just lovely ...

The Great War... In memory of the start of the Great War, I took out the Gillette '04 , the Horse Hair Brush, TOB soap.
Knew a few men who had served. Wish that I would have talked to them more.
My father was a young boy during the war, his most vivid memory was that they spent a part of each day in school wrapping bandages to send to the front.

Tuesday morning:

Proraso Pre
Feather Artist Club SS & Feather professional blades
Custom Finest Badger (TGN)-Omega Handle
Musco Real Cream
Taylor of Old Bond Street, Eton College ASL

Tuesday

Noxzema
Aristocrat Junior
Gillette 7 o'clock Super Platinum

A nice quick shave with the Noxzema foam, a great addition to the morning shave when time is really tight.

Prep : cold water and Proraso Sensitive pre shave cream
Brush : Semogue 620
Soap : Derby Lavender
Razor : Gillette tech head on a Braveheart handle
Blade : Gillette Silver Blue
After: Nivea sensitive post Shave Balm

Really nice shave, nor as close as I would like but just can't seem to manage it with a tech.
Fiat time I have tried this blade though really good feels both sharp and smooth, looking forward to trying it in my 7 O'Clock own comb head.

Have a good Tuesday

Paul
