Post: Alum + Floid 'genuine' ASL

First go with the 2011 R41 (thanks SM304 for the loan) and very surprised, fantastic BBS result in 2 passes (WTG/ATG) with some touch ups/buffing on the neck. No weepers,nicks,cuts and v little tingle to the alum. Delighted - now who wants to sell me one?

This was the first outing for this never used Filarmonica, I honed it this morning and took great pride in shaving with a razor probably from the 70's.
It performed like a Filly should, lovely comfortable shave.
I would recommend this razor (find them for ~£60 on eBay) to anyone who is considering straight shaving. They are a step up in quality from the base Dovo's & TI's that come in around the same price. Excellent stuff!

Cologne: Yardley Ctrus & Wood

A fine result for the end of the week, though the blade was starting to flag.

What do you think of the Arlington Brian? I got the cologne for Christmas and my wife keeps saying it smells like fly spray. I like it though.

Arlington is probably my favourite scent. Citrus developing into a fern finish I believe it's described as. It's nothing like the fly spray I have :icon_wink: I've used the Arlington cream very good. I have the soap in my stock and the Cologne which is unopened up to now.

smashing shave - loads of lather so did 4 passes. this razor is quite aggressive so took it real slow. feels great. It's been about 4 dats since my last shave and you really feel the difference when you leave it so long.
