*First use of Seifenglatt 2014 LE1. The blurb says 'leather and pepper, musk and wood' and it is a very subtle yet sofisticated scent indeed. Not overpowering, but just 'there' the whole shave and some time thereafter. Took some work to get going, but once it did the lather positively exploded in the shaving bowl. Too early to say if it will de-throne the incumbent favourites (Mickey Lee Soap and Soap Commander) but it's a keeper alright.

My first good shave with this razor, must be due to fact that I have been changing
razors frequently, testing them against a Clog Pruf.

Now have a blade worn in to put in MMOC,which i have never used !
 
WEDNESDAY EVENING

Razor: Schick stick with Chick blade
Oil: Village Barber shave oil
Balm: Village Barber balm

I had a late night last night (spent too long trying to complete missions in World of Tanks) so had to have a very quick shave.

Shaved in around five minutes with the above. Really easy and a very good finish. Not as luxurious as the whole brush and lather thing though.
