Tried the dry brush technique with the palmolive and got a great result with the lather so I'll be using this method in future.
First proper straight shave in about 6 months so used my newly acquired Kropp from ebay and honed to a very fine edge by UKRob.
The result, an excellent smooth, relaxed and enjoyable shave

Blade: Gillette silver blue #1.
Post: Malizia Uomo Vetyver balm.

Just got my king cutter back from Rob after cleaning, polishing and honing.. wow is it sharp sliced through 2 days growth like a hot knife through butter, awesome. The 1903 performs brilliantly as per usual and the newly aquired malizia seems to compliment the 1903 nicely.
3 pass brilliantly close shave and tidy up with jaws.

Haven't tried the balm, but you know I use the Malizia AS and EdT and there are some similar mossy,vetyver notes like with the 1903,

Hey Martin.
I love the smell thats for sure and the balm itself feels good, my skin seemed to absorb the balm well leaving no sticky residue. My skin likes it a lot.
