MMCP trial continues.
3rd effort with Clog Pruf. On final passes, rubbed Lather into skin by hand and got
a really close Shave.

I'm so glad DE shaving inexorably led to straight shaving. Another excellent money saving scheme!

However, when I get the chance to use wonderful craftsmanship like Alastair's strop and Ulrik's razor it is worth every penny (to me at least).

This razor (Koraat) is built like a tank. It is reassuringly heavy and beautifully made.

I had a crap shave on Thursday night and felt stubbly all day yesterday but the Koraat soon put paid to that. 3 passes and a face like a baby's arris. It is very sharp and, as it's heavy, you can just guide it around your face and it effortlessly cuts.

Very nice indeed. I'm now looking forward to my Waterhouse razor later this month (an expensive, but very fun, month)

Afternoon, gents.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: Nanjie TTO
Blade: Super Max ss (1)
Brush: Kabuki Bamboo
Shave cream: Erasmic
Aftershave: Boots Freshwood
Cologne: Giorgio for Men

As usual the very cheap Nanjie gives a rough old scrape, but the result is still very close, smooth, and irritation free shave.

Myrsol formula C

Never used this brush with this soap. Superb lather!
