Razor: English Gillette Twist (NOS)
Blade: Scottish Perma Sharp (3)
Soap: English Erasmic
Brush: Italian Omega 102
ASL: English Superdrug Sierran Breeze

I start to understand the fuss about this blade, it's behaving like the Personna Super and stay as sharp for long, 3rd shave (2 passes) and it's like new.

Prep: Shower
Razor: GEM Junior 1912 Baton Handle
Blade: PAL Blued Carbon
Brush: Semogue 1800 Boar
Soap: Tabac Stick Grated
Aftershave: Astral Cream (light)
EDT: Boucheron Jaïpur Homme

A friend on another forum kindly gave me five of these PAL carbon blades to try, PAL which are also owned by GEM/Personna manufacture in the USA carbon blades for shaving and carbon blades for industrial/lab. use, I am sure these blades are the latter.
The shave experience is not a pleasant one they pull like a train, not quite bad enough to fill your eyes with tears but plenty bad enough!

Strangely (although I am not surprised) if you tough it out they deliver a really nice shave as this one was, but it is not an experience I wish to repeat.

I now need to obtain some of the PAL Super carbon blades to try which are I understand purpose made for shaving.

Regards
Dick.

Nuetrogena Pre Wash
Vulfix 404 mixed
La Toja Cream
ER 1924 aka Shovel Head.
Gem coated [ 3 ]
Alum Rub/rinse off
Woods of Windsor A/S Balm
La Toja A/S

Trial of MMCP v other Single Edge.
The !924 delivers the goods in terms of close shave, but is not an easy shaver like
the MMCP which is quite forgiving. Needed the Balm today.
