Prep: Dove Men's face scrub
Soap: Boots shave stick
Brush: Edwin Jagger Chatsworth ebony synthetic bristle
Razor: Edwin Jagger Chatsworth Barley chrome
Blade: Gillette silver blue
Post: King of Shaves 'ultimate' shave balm.

I have a small red patch on my neck, so I'm just shaving 1 and 1/2 passes which I may stick to doing anyway. Not a bad shave, the Boots stick is not bad, the lather does not break down in the way some creams do.

I apply the stick directly to the brush to generate the lather, then transfer to a warm ramekin pot for a warm lather.

Good morning friends! :)

BRUSH: New Forest Tubby2
SOAP/CREAM: Jabonman - Mountain

RAZOR: iKon OSS + Feather New Hi-Stainless
SHAVE: 2 passes, WTG/XTG
AS: J&E Atkinson's I COLONIALI, Sooting Aftershave Emulsion with Rhubarb

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Proraso preshave - sensitive
Soap: Sterling Black Cherry
Brush: Omega 10005 boar
Bowl: Woodhead Pedestal
Razor: Fatip + Templ8 handle
Blade: Sputnik (1)
After: Clarins AS (sample), Clarins Super Moisturiser Gel (sample)

Second try with this Sterling Cherry soap, this time with my large pedestal bowl instead of the narrower necked scuttle. I also added a bit of bicarbonate of soda to the bowl water to help reduce the effects of the hard water. Again the scent disappeared as soon as I lathered up.
This time it was an improvement from before but still not as good as the Bay Rum variety. I'll have to try that one again to see if was just a fluke.

Very close shave from the Fatip and no irritation from the soap so I don't think it was that that made my skin red on my previous run.
Tried Clarins' AS, not bad, a bit flowery but nothing to write home about. Their gel was quite good though.

Happy Sunday.

Sunday

Clinique soap
Fatip piccolo
Gillette yellow
Wilkinson sword brush
Wilkinson sword blue tub soap
Clinique happy

First shave since thursday night and excellent, smooth shave. Not used the fatip in what seems ages and got reminded why it was my favourite razor for so long

I know the wilko soap is pretty much detested round here but not only do I always get a nice shave from it but my skin always feels good afterwards as well

Hot shower
Hot flannel
Nannys Warm Spice hard soap scuttle lathered
Simpson Colonel best badger brush
Gillette NEW short comb
Gillette 7 o'clock super stainless (1)
Cold rinse
Thayers Lavender witch hazel
Myrsol F/extra aftershave

A good combination of software today. My face is cooled from the F/extra.
The NEW short comb has just been re plated by Dave at Restored Razors along with some others. The difference is remarkable as the razor was totally brass before.
