Cold water splash
La Toja Stick (grated)
Morris & Fondran Blonde Badger
ATT M2 Kronos
Perma-Sharp Super (3)
Speick ASB
Speick EdT

La Toja soap seems to leave my lips feeling dry post-shave, likely due to the mineral salts it contains. A nice close shave nevertheless.

Warm shower
Hot flannel
HTGAM Lime bowl lathered
Finest Badger brush made by myself
Gillette Rocket HD
Sputnik (3)
Cold rinse
Thayers Lemon witch hazel
TOBS No74 Victorian Lime aftershave

A 6/8' Vipel which arrived today, as the seller described, in a shave ready condition. But, me being the finicky sort, I made a quick visit to the 12k Naniwa for a touch up, which was followed by a thorough stropping, the usual pre-shave routine and then down to business...

... Korium shave scuttle, Semogue OC, MWF. Very nice shaver. Thoroughly pleased with this purchase (and aren't the scales just stunning)!

Pre: Proraso green pre-shave cream
Cream: Xpec
Brush: Orchid Isles 24mm Silvertip on Curly Koa handle
Razor: EJ DE89 with Ikon handle
Blade: Gillette 7 O'clock black (2)
Post: Thayer's witch hazel, followed by vintage California Bay Rum
First time with the Xpec. Really nice lather, but not inspired by the "unscented". Thought I'd treat myself today with a 1981 vintage bay rum. Very refined bay rum, not 'in-your-face' like most. Wonderful 3-pass BBS.

Professor Blighty themed shave this morning.

Prep: Hot wash with dove soap.
Soap: Professor Blighty's Hyperion (from the Keats range)
Brush: Vie-Long Horse hair.
Razor: 1966 Gillette Adjustable. (4)
Blade: Astra Superior Platinum (2)
Post: Professor Blighty's Hyperion post shave tonic.

This razor continues to amaze me, again this morning after a 3 pass shave I am left with a very smooth shave with a slight improvement of no nick under my nose, this could either be down to my getting used to the razor or just a fluke, time will tell :p.

I am starting to really like using this razor.

Jim
