Soap: Nannys silly soap 'signature bamboo and white grape'
Razor: Slim Adjustable (4)
Blade: 7Oclock Yellow (2)
AS: Professor Blightys Hyperion (Keats range) post shave tonic.

What a difference this morning, I moved the adj on 1 notch to 4 and boy what a difference a notch makes. 3 pass extremely smooth shave this morning, no need for Alum cuts,no weepers, no irritation, no sting what so ever with Aftershave, just a smooth clean shave. I love my adjustable

Turkish setup

Razor: Yuma
Blade: Racer
Brush: Turkish No.6
Soap: Arko
AS: Evin Limon

The Yuma look like it's made of leftover metal scrap which adds to it's "cheap&cheerful" charm, crikey the blade gap is large as the Grand canyon = Proceed with care.

Carefully maneuvering this Lomo of the DE world and after 2 passes, hey presto the results are no blood shed and finish ala R41, very nice for £1.25.

Soap: Le Pere Lucien
Brush: Kent BK8
Razor: Joseph Rodgers 'The Gentlemans Razor' in 5/8 wedge

Realised that I hadn't tried this razor since I first started straight shaving in February this year and had sent it off to Jamie for honing. It was one that had been passed down to me from my grandfather. I was a bit reluctant to try it because it is a wedge, but after I got over the lack of feedback it gave me a very good shave.

Good weekend all.

Lovely shave today, came across the Zuri soap in my stash, have not used it for a while, smooth shave with no nicks , thought it would match up with Tabac and used the EDT rather than the EDC - Have a good weekend gents.

Good to hear things are improving. The Slim is a wonderful piece of engineering.

I was surprised actually, I used virtually no pressure just letting the weight of the razor do the job. I didn't think it had taken any whiskers off but the result told me different.
